REPMUS 2025

Next Generation Situational Awareness for REPMUS 2025

From 15 to 26 September, benntec participated for the third time in the annual REPMUS
exercise – Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping using Maritime Unmanned Systems –
in Tróia and Sesimbra, Portugal. Led by the Portuguese Navy and supported by NATO,
the exercise brings together allied forces, industry, and research institutions to advance interoperability, multi-domain situational awareness, and the development of autonomous unmanned systems.

benntec’s GEOTAC 3D Vision has been an integral part of REPMUS since 2023

The modular 3D platform and data integration software fuses complex real-time and
historical geodata into an interactive tactical picture – immersively experienced from every
angle with mixed reality technology.

GEOTAC 3D Vision enables decision-makers and operators to easily capture and evaluate
complex information based on reliable data. They gain differentiated, real-time insights into
the operational environment from all perspectives – dynamic, intuitive, and interactive.

As part of the REPMUS exercise, GEOTAC 3D Vision provides valuable insights for analysis, evaluation, and decision-making.

GEOTAC 3D Vision generates holistic situational pictures from multiple data sources – from
every perspective.

Interoperable and versatile for military and security-related missions

GEOTAC 3D Vision reduces complexity and facilitates collaboration in crisis and disaster
scenarios. Its immersive 3D visualization of the operational environment allows multiple
stakeholders to access and interact with the same situational picture simultaneously for
joint analysis.

With maximum interoperability and adaptability, GEOTAC 3D Vision is redefining situational awareness and making disaster response and civil protection safer and more efficient.

In 2025, benntec presented the latest capabilities and enhancements of the software in
Portugal and received valuable feedback from various end users. The annual REPMUS exercise
thus contributes to the continuous improvement and further development of the software.

A new feature of GEOTAC 3D Vision: integrated live video streams from drones complete the
situational overview and provide valuable information about current developments and
changes, such as the emergence of new fire hotspots during wildfire response operations.
