GEOTAC 3D Vision

Following successful experimentation campaigns and trials (REPMUS and SeaSEC),
benntec continues to advance GEOTAC 3D Vision, the situational awareness platform
for immersive 3D augmented reality operational pictures. GEOTAC 3D Vision will be
presented as part of Rheinmetall’s Battlesuite at the AFCEA trade exhibition on
May 12–13 in Bonn. The next major milestone in product development is scheduled
for completion by the end of June.

GEOTAC 3D Vision: Modular Situational Awareness Platform for Interactive and
Immersive 3D Operational Pictures

GEOTAC 3D Vision integrates complex real-time and historical geospatial data from multiple sources into an interactive 3D augmented reality operational picture. The immersive 3D visualization enables users to understand the operational environment from any perspective, providing clarity in complex mission scenarios.

Designed for team-oriented missions, GEOTAC 3D Vision can be deployed across multiple visualization devices — from large display systems to wireless mixed reality headsets.
Multiple users can interact with and analyze the same operational view simultaneously
in real time.

By enabling a shared situational understanding, the platform significantly improves
decision-making in critical situations, streamlines coordination among stakeholders, and
enhances cross-domain collaboration.

GEOTAC 3D Vision’s adaptive user interface is intuitive and provides powerful capabilities
for decision-makers. The software supports the integration of mission-specific and external
data, offers interfaces for live drone video streams, includes a timeline function, and enables
fully customizable data layers for tailored tactical views.

The next development milestones will be reached shortly and presented in summer 2026.
